I remember stumbling into City Lights randomly while on my way to meet someone (I was running early, for once). It felt like I went back in time. It was fantastic. I remember I bought Sick in the Head by Judd Apatow. City Lights even made me nostalgic for Borders and bigger box booksellers. Luckily, we have some smaller, independent bookstores in and around Sonoma where I live now. I'm looking forward to some much needed post-COVID bookstore visits.
I can't wait to peruse bookstores again when I can. We have this place in Chattanooga that smells like a portapotty at the front door, but if you can get past the front section, you can score on fantastically priced books. I'm really looking forward to that slight-feces old book smell. 😆
Felt the warm and cozy bookstore vibe when reading this <3 I loooove bookstores and need to check out City Lights
You should go! I want to go back, but admittedly I feel that way about every bookstore.
I definitely will! Will let you know when I go

Sounds shitty. But also lovely.
